IPL 2024: Luke Wood replaces injured Jason Behrendorff at Mumbai Indians
A few days ahead of the start of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Mumbai Indians have named the replacement for their injured player Jason Behrendorff. Mumbai Indians have named England’s left-arm pacer Luke Wood as the replacement for Jason Behrendorff.
MI have roped in Luke Wood for his base price of INR 50 lakh. Wood has played five T20Is for England, meanwhile he possesses a wealth of experience, having played in T20 leagues, BBL, PSL and BPL.
Mumbai Indians will play their fist game of the tournament against Gujarat Titans on Sunday (March 24) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
