IPL 2024: LSG look to overcome initial setback as they face Punjab Kings on home turf
The ongoing Indian Premier League (2024) season has been off to an exhilarating start, with teams battling it out against each other, vying to remain ahead in their campaign. The eleventh match of the tournament will see the face-off between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings on Saturday at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
LSG made the start to their campaign of IPL 2024 with high hopes but faced disappointment in their opening match after suffering defeat against Rajasthan Royals.
Despite having best efforts by batters KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran scoring (58) and (64) respectively, they fell (12) runs short in their chase of (193). However, heading into this game, LSG will be eager to bounce back stronger and make a mark in the tournament.
On the other hand, Punjab Kings have got a mixed start to their campaign, winning one and losing one from their two initial games. Punjab Kings have shown great courage and will be determined to find their rhythm to get back to winning ways.
