Nervous GT and PBKS aim for a much-needed win
Coming off negative results in their last games, Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings will be clashing with each other in the 37th match of the Indian Premier League on Sunday at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh. Both sides will be eager to bounce back from their recent defeats and return to their winning momentum.
Punjab Kings, having lost three games on the bounce in their last matches, will hope to overturn Gujarat Titans, who have not been quite consistent in their campaign. With explosive batting lineup and strong bowling attack, Punjab Kings would hope to resurrect their campaign. Surprisingly, they have fought hard in their last games, taking the game to last overs, yet they have failed to return with victory. Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma have been the biggest positives, being the power-hitters in the previous encounters. Kings have the arsenal, still they need to find consistency to be on top.
On the other side, Gujarat Titans have showcased resilience but at the same time they have also lacked consistency, with experienced batters flopping badly. Shubman Gill has been delivering with bat, however other players will need to step up to help the team. Titans will look to pose a formidable challenge to Punjab to return to good times.
