Delhi Capitals have signed Afghanistan allrounder Gulbadin Naib as the replacement for inured Mitchell Marsh for the remainder of the ongoing Indian Premier League. DC have roped in Naib for his base price of INR 50 lakh.

Gulbadin Naib has played 82 ODIs and 62 T20Is for Afghanistan. As for Marsh, he was flown back to Australia following a hamstring injury. Marsh was not impressive in either bowling or batting, having had careworn batting figures of 61 runs and only one wicket from four games he was part of.

DC have seen a remarkable turnaround in their campaign with four wins from nine games as they sit on the sixth spot in the points table.
