Jofra Archer returns as defending champions England name WC squad
Defending champions England have named their provisional squad for the upcoming T20I World Cup, with pace ace Jofra Archer marking his return to international cricket for the mega event. Jos Buttler will be leading England’s squad that is brimmed with few familiar faces. Archer made his last appearance for England on March 14, 2023, against Bangladesh as he has spent past one year recovering from an elbow injury.
As England gear up to defend the title, many formidable players have been included in the squad. Batting line up has the likes of Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Phil Salt, Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone.
Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid will combine to lead the spin attack, while Reece Topley, Mark Wood and Jofra Archer will be taking care of pace attack.
