IPL 2025: under the weather LSG battle SRH in must-win game

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is nearing its end, and the upcoming 61st match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants on Monday in Lucknow is set to be a decisive encounter.
For LSG, this match is a do-or-die scenario. Currently positioned at the lower end of the points table, LSG find themselves in a precarious situation. A loss in this match would effectively eliminate them from playoff contention, making it important for them to secure a victory. Their recent form has been inconsistent, and they will need to bring their best performance to stay alive in the tournament.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad have already been knocked out of playoff contention. With no hope of progression to the next stage possible, SRH’s primary objective will be to disrupt LSG’s campaign. Having nothing to lose, SRH will play for pride and aim to create hurdles for LSG.
