West Indies and Afghanistan would hope to keep their record of being unbeaten in the still-ongoing T20I World Cup 2024 intact, when they face each other in the highly anticipated showdown on Tuesday (6:00 AM IST) at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia. Both teams are set to clash in the final group stage match of the tournament. They have showcased impeccable form throughout the tournament, remaining unbeaten in their respective encounters. On the back of their outstanding performances, both teams made their way into the Super Eight stage of the tournament. 

West Indies, known for possessing explosive batting unit consisting of big hitters, have been a dominant force in the ongoing tournament. They will be hoping to carry on with their momentum to finish the group stage with a commanding win. They have successfully outplayed their opponents in the previous encounters and would aim to replicate the same form in this game as well. 

On the other hand, Afghanistan, with their rising stature in international cricket, have consistently impressed with their spin bowling arsenal and fearless batting lineup. Their fearless approach in the tournament has played a key role in their success. Under the leadership of Rashid Khan, Afghanistan have been supreme both in their bowling and batting.
