Women’s Asia Cup 2024: Sri Lanka Women battle Thailand Women

In the 12th match of the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2024, Sri Lanka Women and Thailand Women will be fighting against each other on Wednesday at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. Sri Lanka have been superbly dominant so far in the Group B, having recorded victories in two matches in their last two outings so far. 

They are sitting atop in Group B in the points table. Their last game was against Malaysia Women which they won by 144 runs. Going into this game, Sri Lanka Women would hope for a roaring win to secure their spot into the semi-final of the tournament. 

Thailand Women, on the other hand, have recorded one victory and one defeat in their last two matches. They are on the second spot in the points table with two points and a positive NRR of +0.098. They need a big win to stand a chance to qualify into the semi-final of the tournament. Thailand Women are coming off a defeat in their last match against Bangladesh Women.
