Sri Lankan pacer Nuwan Thushara, as per reports, has been ruled out of Sri Lanka’s upcoming three-match T20I series against India, starting 27th July. This comes as a double blow for Sri Lanka after Dushmantha Chameera on Wednesday was confirmed to be unavailable.

As for Nuwan Thushara, he picked up an injury to the finger of his left hand while training. Thushara’s absence will be a big setback for Sri Lanka’s bowling lineup as he has been in exceptional form lately.

No replacement has been named yet for Nuwan Thushara, but Asitha Fernando has replaced Dushmantha Chameera in the squad.
