SA quick Gerald Coetzee ruled out of West Indies Tests
South African quick Gerald Coetzee has been ruled out of the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies, to be played next month. According to South Africa Cricket, Gerald was ruled out of the series due to a side strain he suffered while playing for Texas Super Kings in the ongoing Major League Cricket in the USA.
Uncapped pacer Migael Pretorius has been named as the replacement for Gerald Coetzee. Migael Pretorius was earlier given a call-up to the Test side in December 2020. Now, he joins the team on the back of a terrific form, having claimed 23 wickets for Somerset in the County Championship this year.
