Women’s T20I World Cup 2024: Updated schedule announced

The updated fixtures for the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 have been officially announced, with Bangladesh taking on Scotland in the opening match. While, defending champions Australia will open their campaign with the match against Sri Lanka. India, on the other hand, will kick off their campaign with the match against New Zealand.
Recently, the tournament was moved out of Bangladesh due to anti-government protests over the past few weeks. Now, the tournament is scheduled to be held in UAE. The group stage matches will be played in Dubai and Sharjah. Dubai will host the first semi-final, whereas Sharjah will be hosting second semi-final. The final will be held in Dubai on October 20.
