CPL 2024: All you need to know, squads, teams

The Caribbean Premier League 2024 is set kick off on Thursday, (August 30), marking the 12th edition of the tournament. CPL has become a significant part of T20 leagues around the world, showcasing both local and international talent.
This season promises to be as thrilling as ever, with many international stars set to feature in the league. Six teams will be participating in the league as it will be played until October 6. A total of 34 games will be played in the tournament across seven countries, Trinidad, Guyana, Barbados, St Lucia, St Kitts, and Antigua. Firebrand Shamar Joseph is the new talent, who will be making his entry into the CPL playing for defending champions Guyana Amazon Warriors.

There is also a new team, Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, in the league this season. They will replace Jamaica Tallawahs. In the opening match of the tournament, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons will take on St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on Thursday at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua.
