South Africa unveil women's T20I World Cup Squad

South Africa’s squad for the upcoming T20I World Cup was announced on Monday with Laura Wolvaardt set to lead the side for the first time in a global event. The announcement comes with high expectations, as South Africa were the runner-up in the previous edition of the tournament.
In the last edition of Women’s T20 World Cup, South Africa made a significant impact, finishing as runner-up after a memorable campaign. They fell short against Australia in the final match. The same squad will be featuring in the three-match T20I series against Pakistan from September 16-20.
Featuring in the squad are also other experienced players such as Marizanne Kapp, Chloe Tryon, Tazmin Brits, Ayabonga Khaka, Nadine De Klerk, and Nonkululeko Mlaba. South Africa have also named Miane Smit as a travelling reserve.
