South Africa confirm spin-heavy squad for Bangladesh Tests

South Africa have come out with their squad for the two Test matches against Bangladesh, naming a balanced team that includes a mix of seasoned spinners and formidable fast bowlers. South Africaโs selection of three spinners underscore their intent to leverage spin-friendly conditions that are often prevalent in subcontinental venues. The spinners include Senuran Muthusamy, Dane Piedt and Keshav Maharaj.
Complementing the spin options, South Africa have also named three formidable fast bowlers in the form of Kagiso Rabada, Nandre Burger and Dane Paterson.
The first Test match is scheduled to be played from October 21 to October 26 in Dhaka, while the second game is set to be played from October 29 to November 2 in Chattogram. South Africa are currently in the sixth position in the World Test Championship cycle with two victories in six matches.
