As both teams turn their attention to the thrilling finale of the three-match Test series, Pakistan and New Zealand are set to lock horns in the crucial third and final Test match, slated to get underway from Thursday in Rawalpindi. With the series currently tied at 1-1, both teams have a tough job ahead in order to secure a series victory and assert their dominance.

They were brilliant in the second Test, showcasing their batting depth and bowling prowess. Pakistan’s fierce response in the second Test propelled them to a victory that instilled confidence in their ability.
For Pakistan, spinners will again be expected to step up and frustrate England batters. Kamran Ghulam and Saim Ayub’s batting consistency was the cornerstone of Pakistan’s 1st innings total, while Salman Ali Agha and Saud Shakeel shone in the second innings. Pakistan are expected to name their XI on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, they named their playing XI as they included an extra spinner in the form of young Rehan Ahmed. Conditions have been more favourable to the spinners, which is what makes this an enthralling contest.
