Pakistan shift ODI Tri-Series with New Zealand and South Africa to Lahore and Karachi

Pakistan have decided to relocate its upcoming ODI Tri-Series with New Zealand and South Africa from Multan to Lahore and Karachi. The series, which was originally scheduled to be held in Multan, has been shifted to Lahore and Karachi as Pakistan show its readiness to host the Champions Trophy, which is set to be held on these two venues from February 19. 

Both venues have been undergoing upgradation and the work is being done expeditiously in order to ready the venues in time.  

"Given the advanced stage of preparations at the Gaddafi Stadium and the National Bank Stadium, the PCB has decided to relocate the upcoming tri-nation ODI series to these two venues. The series, featuring New Zealand and South Africa alongside Pakistan, was originally scheduled to be held in Multan."

PCB also assured that the upgradation work was progressing well and will be completed in time. Meanwhile, ODI Tri-Series will get underway from February 8. 

“In a regular update, the PCB assured the fans, spectators and media that all upgradation work was progressing on schedule and will be completed before or around the set deadlines."
