Cricket Australia has confirmed an adjustment to its upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, with an additional ODI match added to the itinerary. Both sides were earlier scheduled to play One-Off ODI but an extra game has been added to their schedule.

This move aims to provide the Australian team with extra preparation ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is scheduled to begin from February 19. The tour, which already includes a two-match Test series, will now feature two ODIs instead of one.

The two ODIs will be held on February 12 and 14 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The first Test will start on January 29, while the second Test is scheduled to be played February 6.
