Harbhajan Singh wants Abhishek Sharma to work on his bowling as well

Young Indian star Abhishek Sharma’s batting blitz in the fifth and final T20I match against England was on full display on Sunday at Wankhede Stadium as India won the series 4-1. Abhishek Sharma smashed a record-breaking knock of 135 off just 54 balls, underpinned by 13 sixes and 7 boundaries. England bowlers remained clueless in halting his assault as he was uncontrollable throughout his innings.
Praising his calm demeanour and hitting abilities, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has said that Abhishek Sharma should also focus on strengthening his bowling so that he can contribute to the team in multiple ways.
"I would like to see Abhishek bowl a bit more. He bowls really well. I have been telling him since the very first day that his seam position is very good. However, he doesn’t focus as much on his bowling as he does on his batting. Even today whenever I meet him I talk to him about his bowling because batting is his first love, he will certainly work on that. He is a hard-working guy, and his father has been equally dedicated to his career," Harbhajan Singh said on his YouTube channel.
Harbhajan also lauded Abhishek Sharma for his fearless approach.
"He was fearless from the start. He doesn’t concern himself with the bowler’s reputation—if the ball is in his arc, he will go for the shot. I remember a four-day game where the mid-wicket was on the boundary and a left-arm spinner was bowling. But Abhishek stepped out and hit a six. I didn’t want to change him. He was naturally fearless,” he said.
