Varun Chakaravarthy included into India's ODI squad for England series
Indian spinner Varun Chakaravarthy, as per reports, has been added to India’s squad for a three-match ODI series against England. His inclusion into India’s squad follows his eye-catching performance in the preceding five-match T20I series against England.
He took 13 wickets in five matches to emerge as the highest wicket-taker in the series. Chakaravarathy travelled with the squad to Nagpur and also trained on Tuesday ahead of the first ODI. The first ODI is scheduled to be played on Thursday at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
He is still uncapped in ODIs, having only played 23 List A games. However, his inclusion is a massive boost to India’s spin-bowling arsenal.
