News

The second ODI of the ongoing Pakistan ODI Tri-Series will see South Africa and New Zealand go against each other on Monday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. With the series still in its early stages, both teams will be eager to make a statement, especially after New Zealand's impressive victory over Pakistan in the opening ODI.

New Zealand enter this match on the back of a commanding win over the host nation, Pakistan, in the first ODI. The Black Caps beat Pakistan by 78 runs, demonstrating their incredibly powerful batting sills. Glenn Phillips (106*), Daryl Mitchell (81) and Kane Williamson (58) stood up for the team. The Kiwis will now be hoping for a similar collective performance to keep the winning streak alive.

South Africa, on the other hand, will be looking to find consistency in their approach after a mixed run in recent ODIs. With a potent batting lineup and a highly capable bowling attack, the proteas will look to challenge New Zealand. However, they will need to put together a more cohesive performance to match New Zealand's winning momentum.
