BCCI announce Women’s Central Contract list

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the central contract list for the Indian Women’s cricket team. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and allrounder Deepti Sharma have been placed in Grade A category.
While, Renuka Singh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, and Shafali Verma have been placed in Grade B. And, players like Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu, Arundathi Reddy, Amanjot Kaur, Uma Chetry, Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar have been slotted in Grade C.
Uma Chetry, Arundhati Reddy, Titas Sadhu and Shreyanka Patil are the new players, who have found themselves in the central contract list. Meanwhile, players like Meghna Singh, Devika Vaidya, S Meghana, Anjali Sarvani, and Harleen Deol have failed to make the cut.
Grade A: Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma
Grade B: Renuka Singh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma
