NZ vs PAK 5th T20I: New Zealand crush Pakistan, finish series 4-1

New Zealand have sealed a 4-1 series victory after outmuscling Pakistan in the fifth and final T20I on Wednesday in Wellington. Tim Seifert blasted 97 unbeaten, including 10 beautiful sixes and six boundaries, to carry New Zealand over the line in 10 overs. New Zealand, in chase of a modest total of 128/9 set by Pakistan after being asked to bat, finished at 131/2 .
Earlier, they restricted Pakistan to 128/9, with Jimmy Neesham, ripping through Pakistan’s batting lineup to claim his first five-wicket haul. He registered the figures of 5-22 off his four overs. For Pakistan, the lone warrior was their skipper Salman Ali Agha, who hammered valuable runs, hitting a magnificent half-century (51 off 39) to drag the side to a fighting score.
Other Pakistan batters like Mohammad Haris, Hassan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah, who have not had the easiest of times in this series, again succumbed to the pressure, failing to make any contribution.
