IPL 2025, SRH vs GT: A lot at stake for lost SRH

Sunrisers Hyderabad are gearing up for a high-stakes encounter against Gujarat Titans, scheduled to take place on Sunday in Hyderabad. The most explosive side, SRH, are struggling to find their rhythm and are coming off three consecutive defeats, while the GT are riding the wave of a recent victory, confident and eager to extend their winning streak.

SRH’s recent form has been far from ideal, especially their formidable batting lineup, which has failed to fire in the last three games.

Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen have not been near their best. On top of that, the form of Travis Head has been a big worry for SRH. After a promising start to the season, the team has suffered three straight losses, leaving them with much to prove. SRH have faced challenges both with the bat and ball, and their recent defeats have exposed some areas of vulnerability. Unlike last year, when it was impossible to overcome them, this season has been a huge disappointment for SRH.

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans are in a much more positive frame of mind. Their last outing saw them secure an impressive win over RCB, and the team will look to build on that success. GT have shown a solid all-round game, with their batting and bowling units coming together when it matters most. Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have been the backbone of GT’s batting, while their bowling has been led by Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, Ishant Sharma, and Sai Kishore. Meanwhile, young Gill’s leadership has also been instrumental in helping the team bounce back from earlier setbacks, and they’ll be eager to maintain their momentum as they look to remain solid.
