South Africa name squad for Women’s tri-series in SL

South Africa's women's cricket team has announced their squad for the upcoming ODI Tri-Series against hosts Sri Lanka and India. The series is set to be played in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from April 27 to May 11, 2025. South Africa women have handed maiden call-ups to Karabo Meso and Seshnie Naidu, who both featured in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup earlier this year. 

Miané Smit has also been included in the squad. She was a travelling reserve at last year’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Laura Wolvaardt will be leading the side, and South Africa will kick off their campaign by facing India on April 29 at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
