Their top three batters, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have been in scintillating touch, laying strong platforms and reducing the pressure on the middle and lower order. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are enduring their worst IPL campaign to date. With five consecutive losses, the team has looked out of sorts. The encounter against Gujarat gives RR an opportunity to solidify their position in the points table. Moreover, they would aim for revival to have the slightest chance for playoffs.
