Ex-Indian fielding coach R Sridhar to lead Sri Lanka’s 10-day fielding camp

Former Indian fielding coach R Sridhar is set to lead a 10-day fielding camp in Sri Lanka, aiming to elevate the fielding standards of Sri Lankan players. The upcoming fielding camp in Sri Lanka is designed to provide intensive training to the players. The training camp, which will kick off on May 7, will feature men’s and women’s national squads, Emerging squads, Premier Club players, the National U19 team and Women’s ‘A’ team.
"Sridhar will conduct a comprehensive 10-day fielding program to elevate the fielding standards of Sri Lankan Cricketers. The specialized programme will commence on May 7 and will involve men's and women's national squads, Emerging squads, Premier Club players, and the National U19 team, and Women's 'A' team as well," the SLC stated in a statement.
Sridhar carries a lot of experience, having served as India’s fielding coach in over 300 international matches between 2014 and 2021.
