“Nothing for me to decide as of now”: Dhoni on his future in IPL

Legendary MS Dhoni, speaking on his future in the IPL, has stated that, as of now, he has yet to make a decision on his participation in the tournament next year. On Wednesday, Dhoni played a crucial role in lifting CSK to a two-wicket win over KKR, finishing unbeaten on 17.
"That is the love and affection that I have gotten throughout. Not to forget I am 43. I have played a long time. Most of them don't know when it is going to be my last year, so they want to come and support me and watch me play," Dhoni said after the game.
"I only play two months in a year and now after this IPL gets over, I have to work hard for another six to eight months just to see if my body will be able to take this kind of pressure and everything. So nothing for me to decide as of now, but I feel the love and affection wherever I've been,”.
MS Dhoni, who has dominated the IPL over the years, is aware that time is slipping away. Moreover, fitness remains the biggest concern for him, having undergone knee surgery in 2023. This year, Dhoni hasn’t been seen at his best, struggling to put on excellent performances.
