Jaiswal makes u-turn, expresses desire to continue playing for Mumbai

Yashasvi Jaiswal has decided to stay with Mumbai for the 2025-26 domestic season, reversing his earlier intention to move to Goa. The talented young batter has written a formal letter to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), expressing his desire to continue representing the team.

"I, the undersigned, would request your goodself to consider my request in withdrawing my NOC given to me as I had some family plans in shifting to Goa which for now has been curtailed! So I sincerely request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season! I have not submitted the NOC to BCCI nor to Goa Cricket Association!," Jaiswal wrote in the mail, as quoted by the news agency PTI.

Jaiswal had earlier decided to shift to Goa from the 2025-26 season onwards, and he had also received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).
