Delivering a blistering performance, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets on Monday in Lucknow, majorly ending LSG’s playoff hopes. Although SRH had already been eliminated from the tournament, they played with freedom, chasing down a challenging total of 205 in just 18.2 overs.

Asked to bat, LSG openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram unleashed a powerful start. Marsh struck a commanding 65, while Markram added a fluent 61, setting a solid foundation for a big total. Down the order, Nicholas Pooran added late fireworks with a quickfire 45, pushing LSG to an imposing total of 205/7 in 20 overs.

Chasing the target, SRH’s Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma led the counterattack with explosive hitting. Klaasen’s 47 was packed with authority, while Abhishek’s 59 off 20 anchored the innings in style. Even, Kamindu Mendis made a notable contribution, scoring a breezy 32 off just 21 deliveries to lead SRH to victory.
