Arch rivals India and Pakistan will clash with each other in the 6th match of the Asia Cup, which begins on Tuesday in the UAE. The excitement is palpable in the lead-up to the monumental clash that promises to be an all-star showdown. There is always huge delirium whenever rivals India and Pakistan come face-to-face because their meetings are only limited to world events due to political tensions between the neighboring nations. Speaking ahead of the tournament opener during a captains’ meet, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav said there will be no let-up in aggression during the blockbuster clash.

“Aggression is always there when we take the field. Without aggression, I don’t think you can play the sport. I am very excited to take the field from tomorrow," Yadav said.

Pakistan captain Salman Agha also shared the same thought, saying whosoever wants to be aggressive, they are more than welcome.

“You don’t need to say anything to any player. Everyone is individually very different. If somebody wants to be aggressive in the field, they are more than welcome to do that. When it comes to fast bowlers, they are always aggressive, and you can’t stop them. That’s what keeps them going. From my side, there’s no instruction to anyone – as long as it stays on the field," Agha said.

India, meanwhile, will begin their Asia Cup campaign by taking on UAE in the second match of the tournament on Wednesday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. Pakistan, on the other hand, will face Oman in their first game of the tournament on Friday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
