The Indian Premier League (IPL) has announced that the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad, which was scheduled to be played at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday (May 23), will now be played at Lucknow's Ekana Cricket Stadium due to adverse weather conditions in Bengaluru.

The change comes in response to persistent weather conditions in the southern region. Recently, the match between RCB and KKR at the Chinnaswamy Stadium was washed out due to relentless rain. Following the suspension, KKR had been knocked out of the IPL 2025

"The TATA IPL Match No. 65 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has been relocated to the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, due to unfavourable weather conditions in Bengaluru," IPL said in a statement.
