Australia reveal a powerful squad for WI T20Is

Australia have named a 16-member squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against West Indies scheduled to be played next month. Mitchell Marsh will be leading the squad that also features Cooper Connolly, Tim David, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, and Josh Inglis.
The five-match series will be crucial for Australia in their preparation for the upcoming T20I World Cup 2026. Mitchell Owen, who was the breakout performer at the BBL earlier this year, has received a maiden international call-up. Matthew Kuhnemann has also been included in the squad and is set to make his T20 international debut. Players like young gun Jake Fraser-McGurk, Marcus Stoinis, Travis Head, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc were left out of the squad.
