Dwayne Bravo appointed new head coach of Trinbago Knight Riders

West Indies cricket legend Dwayne Bravo has been named as the new head coach of the Trinbago Knight Riders, replacing Phil Simmons, who is currently serving as the head coach of Bangladesh men's team.
"It's an honor to be given the opportunity to be Head Coach of TKR, a team that's very close to my heart. I would like to personally thank Coach Phil Simmons for his time and commitment over the last few years, and now I look forward to this new challenge for me and my staff,” Bravo said in a social media post.
Bravo, who has played 107 matches in the CPL between 2013 and 2024, has represented TKR in nine out of the 11 seasons. Overall, he has taken 129 wickets at an economy of 8.74. During his time in CPL as a player, Bravo lifted five titles, including a memorable 2021 season as the captain of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
