England to host next three WTC finals

England will host the next three World Test Championship finals in 2027, 2029 and 2031, the International Cricket Council confirmed. England have so far been successful in hosting all three WTC finals. Last month Lord's played host to the 2025 WTC final between South Africa and Australia, where South Africa beat Australia in a thrilling showdown.
The decision was confirmed at the ICCâs annual conference in Singapore. Meanwhile, there were speculations that India could be earning the hosting rights, but citing a âsuccessful track record in hosting recent finalsâ, the ICC confirmed England as the hosts.
"The Board also confirmed the awarding of hosting rights for the ICC World Test Championship Finals for the 2027, 2029, and 2031 editions to the England and Wales Cricket Board, following a successful track record in hosting recent finals," the ICC said in its release.
