Injuries prompt Australia to make changes to ODI squad ahead of South Africa series

Australia’s preparations for the upcoming three-match ODI series at home against South Africa have been disrupted by a series of injuries that have forced the selectors to make last-minute changes to the squad. Three key players Matt Short, Mitch Owen and all-rounder Lance Morris have been sidelined for the three-match series, dealing a significant blow to Australia's plans.
Matt Short and Lance Morris have been ruled out of the series with injuries while Mitch Owen remains in concussion protocols. Australia have now included Matthew Kuhnemann and pacer Aaron Hardie as their replacements.
The three-match series will begin on August 19 in Cairns, and the final two games will be played in Mackay on August 22 and 24 respectively.
