Kagiso Rabada ruled out of ODIs against Australia

South Africa have suffered a crushing blow as their star pacer Kagiso Rabada will miss the three-match ODI series against Australia due to injury. The ever reliable pacer was ruled out due to inflammation of his right ankle, with scans determining the extent of injury on Monday. Following Rabada’s absence, South Africa have added Kwena Maphaka to the squad.
As per Cricket South Africa, Rabada will now remain in Australia and undergo rehabilitation under the supervision of South Africa medical staff.
