India completed a clinical 2-0 series sweep over West Indies with a dominant seven-wicket win in the second and final Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday. The hosts chased down a modest target of 121 in style, thanks to strong contributions from KL Rahul and young star Sai Sudharsan.

After imposing the follow-on, India made short work of the visitors’ resistance, stamping their authority across all departments. KL Rahul, bringing in his experience, remained unbeaten on 58, anchoring the chase. Sai Sudharsan fell after scoring a fluent 39.

Earlier, winning the toss and opting to bat, India piled up an imposing 518 for 5 declared. Young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal continued his dream run, smashing a sparkling 175, while Shubman Gill brought up a classy 129*. Their centuries powered India to an imposing total.

West Indies, in reply, managed only 248 runs in their first innings. The Indian bowling unit, led by the ever-reliable spin duo Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, kept the pressure tight, snatching three and five wickets, respectively.

With a deficit of 270 runs, India enforced the follow-on. West Indies, meanwhile, mounted a better fight in their second innings, scoring 390, with Shai Hope and Justin Greave firing 103 and 50*, respectively. West Indies' 390 set India a target of 121 to win. In India's chase, KL Rahul, making the most of his opportunities, played a measured knock to guide India to a comfortable win. This was India's tenth straight win against West Indies and the first Test series win under the leadership of Shubman Gill.
