Kohli and Naveen-Ul-Haq happily make peace

The verbal feud between Indian player Virat Kohli and Afghanistan bowler Naveen-Ul-Haq had made a lot of headlines during the Indian Premier League 2023 earlier this year as both players were involved in a heated exchange of words. The hostility between both players occurred during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants where both players went through heated exchange of words. Virat Kohli was playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore while Naveen-Ul-Haq was making his appearance for Lucknow Super Giants. The controversy escalated after both teams were in the process of shaking hands after the match. As Virat Kohli and Naveen-Ul-Haq approached each other to shake hands there was a furious verbal arguments between both of them due to which other team members had to intervene to diffuse the situation.
Now, after four months of that controversy, Virat Kohli and Naveen-Ul-Haq let the bygones be bygones as they both seemed to bury the hatchet during India’s match against Afghanistan on Wednesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. During the match, in the 26th over, Naveen-Ul-Haq walked up to Kohli and both shook hands and also had a fruitful exchange of words on Wednesday. Kohli also patted Naveen-Ul-Haq on his back which put whole controversy to rest. India had won the match by eight wickets after Rohit Sharma showed his class by smashing (131-run) knock.
