BBL 2023-24: Adelaide Strikers to meet Hobart Hurricanes

In the 31st match of the ongoing Big Bash League, Adelaide Strikers will be squaring off against Hobart Hurricanes on Tuesday at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. Adelaide Strikers have gathered the much-needed confidence by breaking their four-match losing streak on Friday with the 9-wicket win over Perth Scorchers. The win against Perth Scorchers has put them back into the hunt for finals. They will also get a big impetus with the return of wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey who has returned to play his first match of this season.
Hobart Hurricanes, on the other hand, suffered a huge defeat in the rain-curtailed match against Brisbane Heat that they lost by one run. Hobart Hurricanes are placed on the fifth position in the points table with three wins and four losses, carrying 6 points and the negative NRR of -0.052. Hobart Hurricanes would hope to build on the confidence and look to make it to the top four.
