Massive blow for England with Rehan Ahmed flying home due to personal reasons
In a tremendous setback for England in the ongoing five-match Test series against India, young spinner Rehan Ahmed is set to depart for England due to personal reasons. Rehand Ahmed, who featured in England’s first Three Test matches against India, will fly home due to personal setbacks.
“Rehan Ahmed will return home for personal reasons,” the statement from ECB read.
“He will not be returning to India and we will not be naming a replacement,” the statement further added.
In the past three Tests, Rehand Ahmed delivered fabulous performances, picking up 11 wickets to make his greater contribution. Rehan Ahmed was replaced by Shoaib Bashir in the ongoing fourth Test match as England look forward for a crucial victory.
