Colin Munro shines in Islamabad’s much-needed win

Islamabad United thrashed Karachi Kings by 7 wickets in the 15th match of the Pakistan Super League on Wednesday at National Stadium in Karachi. The standout performance from Colin Munro guided Islamabad United to a much-needed victory.
Chasing the target of 166, Colin Munro’s fabulous innings of (82) runs played a pivotal role in Islamabad United's triumph. Munro's aggressive approach provided the team with a great start. Colin Munro alongside Alex Hales led the scoring for Islamabad United, keeping Karachi Kings’ bowlers in check.
Put into bat, Karachi Kings had tepid performances from their batters as they were dragged to 165 with the help of 48-run score coming from Kieron Pollard. This is Karachi Kings’ second defeat in the tournament, while Islamabad United brought an end to their losing streak with this win.
On the other hand, Karachi Kings will also look to regroup and address their shortcomings to bounce back in the tournament. While the loss is a setback, they have talented batters with huge experience to turn things around and make a strong comeback in the remaining matches.
