PSL 2024: Karachi Kings under huge pressure as they gear up to face Quetta Gladiators

Amid the electrifying atmosphere in the ongoing Pakistan Super League, Karachi Kings will once again be seen in action as they gear up to face Quetta Gladiators in the 16th match of the tournament on Thursday at National Stadium in Karachi. This will be the second clash for Karachi kings in the space of 24 hours, having already played against Islamabad United the day before. 

Karachi Kings will enter this game on the back of a defeat in their last match against Islamabad United. They remain in a precarious situation, searching for a win to stage their comeback in the tournament. Karachi Kings are on the fifth spot in the points table with two victories and two defeats from their past four games. They have four points along with the negative NRR of -0.527. 

On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators are positioned second in the points table with their three victories from their four games. They have only suffered one defeat in the tournament, having six points and the positive NRR of +0.345. Meanwhile, Quetta Gladiators are coming off a defeat from their last game against Multan Sultan. 

Having experienced defeats in their last matches, Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will be looking to assert their dominance against each other with their commanding performances. Meanwhile, Karachi Kings will be under a whole lot of pressure, languishing at the bottom from second in the points table.
