Phil Salt replaces Jason Roy at KKR for IPL 2024

Kolkata Knight Riders’ batter Jason Roy has pulled out of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 citing “personal reasons” as he is set to mark his absence from the tournament in its entirety.
In light of latest development from Jason Roy, Kolkata Knight Riders have roped in Phil Salt to replace Jason Roy in the team for the IPL 2024.
Phil Salt represented Delhi Capitals during the last season of tournament, but this time around he went unsold at the auction. KKR brought in Phil Salt at a reserve price of INR 1.5 crore. During his stint at Delhi Capitals last year, Phil Salt churned out (218) runs from nine games at a strike rate of 163.91.
