Finn Allen, Adam Milne ruled out of Pakistan series

Finn Allen and Adam Milne have been ruled out of New Zealand’s upcoming five-match T20I series against Pakistan due to their respective injury setbacks. It is a big blow for New Zealand ahead of the upcoming T20I World Cup 2024.
"The nature of their respective injuries meant they wouldn't be able to take part in any of the five match series, due to start next week in Rawalpindi," NZC said in a statement.
"Plans for their return to cricket will be confirmed in the coming weeks."
Finn Allen sustained a back injury, while Adam Milne suffered an ankle injury. Wicketkeeper batsmen Tom Blundell and uncapped allrounder Zak Foulkes have been called as their replacements. The first T20I match between both teams will be played on Thursday next week at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
