SRH vs RR: Batting supremo SRH hope to turn on the heat against top-placed RR

Rajasthan Royals have been unblemished in their ongoing campaign at the Indian Premier League with the extraordinary display of match-winning performances. They took great learning from their last campaign where they started off robustly but faltered in the middle, leading to their ouster. This time around they have been successful in bludgeoning the best teams, having recorded eight victories in their last nine games.

Rajasthan Royals would now be confident to maintain their flawless record intact when they face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 50th match of the tournament on Thursday at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. With the likes of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Riyan Parag in their batting lineup, Rajasthan Royals boast a formidable attack. And their bowling lineup comprises Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad, currently placed fifth on the points table, have recorded two defeats on the bounce in their last two outings. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have brought all kinds of storms with the bat, setting the team off to blazing starts over and again. Notably, their whirlwind with the bat has been the primary reason behind SRH's success so far.

Still, they have to cover a lot of ground to get back into the tournament after suffering two consecutive defeats in their last two games. They need their middle-order batters to do more and not depend on the openers. Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klassen looked in fantastic form at the start of the tournament, but their diminishing form in the last few games has been a cause of concern for SRH. All in all, SRH have a balanced squad with superb combinations.
