Umpires confirmed for the T20I World Cup semi-finals

The umpires for the upcoming two semi-finals at the T20I World Cup 2024 have been revealed. India and England will be meeting each other in the second semi-final of the tournament on Thursday. Chris Gaffaney and Rodney Tucker have been appointed as the on-field umpires. 

Joel Wilson has been named as the TV umpire while Paul Reiffel will be officiating as the fourth umpire. The first semi-final will be between South Africa and Afghanistan on Wednesday (Thursday IST). The on-field officials for the first semi-final will be Richard Illingworth and Nitin Menon. Richard Kettleborough will be the TV umpire and Ahsan Raza will serve as fourth umpire. 

Afghanistan and South Africa stormed into the semi-final of the T20I World Cup after their tense victories against Bangladesh and West Indies respectively. India and England, on the other hand, overcame Australia and United States respectively to seal their semi-final spots.
