The two best and unbeaten sides India and South Africa are set to face off in the final showdown of the T20I World Cup 2024 on Saturday at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. Both India and South Africa have exhibited exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament, making their way into the final without a single defeat. With both sides having remained undefeated through the group and Super Eight stages, the final showdown is going to be the captivating one.

South Africa's campaign has been spectacular, registering remarkable and hard-fought victories. With four victories on the trot, South Africa lack no form and would be up for the India challenge. Proteas are riding a wave of momentum and remain in outstanding form ahead of the thrilling clash. Proteas have outperformed expectations at every stage of the tournament. This final game offers them a golden opportunity to secure their first-ever T20I World Cup title, marking a significant moment in their cricketing journey.

On the other hand, India enter the final with the weight of a 13-year ICC title drought on their shoulders. The last time India lifted an ICC trophy was back in 2011, when they won the ODI World Cup. Since then, global title has been elusive for team India as they has fallen short in crucial moments.

Meanwhile, they are red hot, coming off a colossal victory against England in the semi-final 2. Heading into the final, India would look to impose themselves on proteas to outplay them and win their second T20I World Cup title. All in all, an unbeaten record so far will give huge confidence to both teams to come hard on each other.
