Zimbabwe declare squad for India T20Is

Zimbabwe have named their squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against India, with uncapped player Naqvi Antum being named in the squad. The 17-player squad will be led by Sikandar Raza, with a whole host of experienced players making their return to the team. The five-match series will get underway from July 6. 

Players like Shumba Milton, Dion Myers, Innocent Kaia, Clive Madande, Brian Bennett, Johnathan Campbell, Wellington Masakadza, Tadiwanashe Marumani, and Faraz Akram have all been retained from the squad that faced Bangladesh ahead of T20I World Cup. 

Meanwhile, Naqvi Antum’s inclusion in the side is subject to him being deemed as the citizen of Zimbabwe. There have also been notable omissions in the side in the form of Craig Ervine, Sean Williams and Ryan Burls. Returning to the squad are Tendai Chatara, Brandon Mavuta and Wessly Madhevere.
