The fourth edition of The Hundred competition is all set to get underway from Tuesday (23 July), promising a season of high-octane battles. The tournament will witness the presence of whole lot of overseas players. Eight teams will be vying in the tournament, showcasing a blend of local talent and overseas stars. Notably, The Hundred Men’s and Women’s competition is played simultaneously.

The eight teams participating in the tournament are Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets and Welsh Fire. In the men’s tournament, Oval Invincibles are the defending champions and in the Women’s competition, Southern Brave are the defending champions.

In the tournament, each team bats for 100 balls in a match and the team scoring most wins the game.
