Nathan Ellis ruled out of Australia’s UK tour

Australian pacer Nathan Ellis has been ruled out of Australia’s entire UK tour due to a hamstring injury. Nathan Ellis will miss the rest of the series against Scotland and the subsequent T20Is and ODIs games against England. His absence is a significant blow to the Australian squad, as his resurgent pace has been incredibly beneficial for Australia.
Ellis suffered a hamstring injury during The Hundred tournament, keeping him out of Australia’s opening match against Scotland. Ellis could not make full recovery due to which he failed to participate in the second game, which Australia won by 70 runs. As a result, Ellis has been ruled out of Australia’s rest of the UK tour.
Riley Meredith will stay with Australian squad as cover. Meanwhile, senior pacer Josh Hazlewood has arrived in London ahead of Australia’s first T20I against England.
